SHIPPING/RETURNS

Q.1 Is shipping free for all orders?

Ans. Free standard shipping is provided across India by Wode upon the purchase of a timepiece. International orders are subject to a shipping fee of approx 20USD, mentioned during the checkout.

An order containing only accessories – no timepiece(s) – may be subject to an additional shipping cost and will be displayed in your total at checkout. 

Q.2 How do I return or replace my Wode watch? 

Ans. Well, we can’t imagine why you’d want to do that. But even if you do, fear not. Just drop us an email at stiffupperlip@wodestudio.com with your order ID.

We will refund your products for their full value to the account originally used when making your purchase.

Please note that you must return your items within 7 days of receiving them. The products must be unused and in original condition – i.e. in original packaging with all labels and protective stickers intact. 

Please do allow upto 15 days to process the return/exchange. 

International: We do not accept returns/exchanges on International shipments. In the unlikely event that you have received a damaged product, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the shipment.

Q.3 I’m ordering a gift for someone; can you remove the invoice from the packaging?

Ans. Of course, we aren't that heartless. Just be sure to mention it in the ‘additional information’ section in your cart. In case you missed it, drop us an email at stiffupperlip@wodestudio.com

WARRANTY

Q.4 What is the warranty of my Wode watch?

Ans. Every Wode watch is protected by a 1 year limited warranty. The warranty covers defects due to faulty material or workmanship, subject to normal conditions of use.

The warranty does not cover:

• Battery, glass, bands, straps, bracelets, exposed crystals and other embellishments.
• Damage (including water damage) as a result of poor care, accidents and normal wear and tear.

To claim your warranty, simply email us at stiffupperlip@wodestudio.com with your order ID & details of the issue.

Q.5 What is the watch made of?

Ans. They're made of love of course.
Just kidding.

Wode timepieces are made of surgical grade stainless steel (316L).

The glass of the watch is made of hardened mineral glass. It is resistant to normal wear and tear but should be used with care. (life is, but a rhyme)

Please note that a damaged glass/crystal is not covered under the 12-month warranty.

Q.6 Is my watch waterproof?

Ans. All Wode watches have a water resistance of 3ATM and a water-resistant lining on the back of the strap. Having said that, it doesn’t mean we recommend dancing in the rain with it.

In fact, it is best if there is no contact with water at all. Avoid wearing the watch when showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any activity where it is exposed directly to water. The watch is resistant to everyday use and light rain. 

Kindly note that water damage is not covered under the 12-month warranty.

LEATHER

Q.7 What is the leather strap made of?

Ans. All leather wristbands are made of genuine, high-grade leather with great craftsmanship.

As leather is an organic material, it evolves with time, just like everything else in nature. Changes in the hue that come with regular use and passage of time are a natural part of the process when it comes to high-quality leather.

Q.8  How do I take care of the leather?

Ans. Be sure to keep leather out of direct heat/sunlight for prolonged periods of time. This is done to avoid drying out, cracking and uneven fading. You may moisturise it using special made-for-leather products.

Leather has pores so cannot be fully waterproofed. If your leather gets wet, dry it using paper napkins, pack it up loosely with paper and let it air dry.
